hehe,finally i have something to post!
haha,been to vivo city today,went with dee and her cousin.hahah a surprising thing is that while eating our dinner,there's this indian security guard,well,nothing surprising about that in multi-racial singapore. however he spoke to us in very very fleunt chinese - which i am very ashamed of,wakakaka.
hmmm,after that i met daddy at novena,so that he could send me home^^ and over there,there's this indian cleaner,nothing surprising again...but he understands chinese!hahha...well being a cleaner and a security guard does not really earn much...however,the languages they understand would surely help them get a better job....
however...the reason i post the above has its reason^^ haha,recently i went to shop and save near my house,cuz i needed to get energy bar for who else but my dee...haha....so i went 2 rounds around that medium sized shop and save,and could not find the energy bars.
so i approach the guy in yellow(which is the staff there)well,i asked him do they sell energy bars here?so he said ni ke yi shuo hua wen ma? (asking me to speak in chinese instead)well...at that moment i was stump....hmmm given my excellent chinese skills...i just cant find how to translate energry bars into chinese! lol!so i told him in chinese the one before doing sports eat to give energy 1...and he gave me that look=.= oh well....btw he is a cheena guy...
well so not surprising i went out of the shop empty handed=.= shop and save sure sacrifice quantity of labour for quality...oh ya! i have 1 more thing to add...the cheena guy was,if i am not wrong,pasting english labels on the food rack or checking the english labours,it is either 1...so well,he doesnt understands english yet he is doing that....hmm,so next time u head down there...dont be surprise to see a condom label paste onto a biscuit section^^
hmmm,i am not against cheena people but....at least those shops could hire people with basic eng capabilities...they work in the shop...so well,they should at least know every item in the shop in eng...if not they can hire those 2 people i mention in the earlier section of this post...i am sure they cost around the same but price,or may be slightlymore...butthey know at least 3 languages perfectly well....so y save such money if it is going to keep ur customers and not drive them away?
